The name Selama Ultra was chosen due to the beauty and uniqueness of the hilly roads along the race route. Additionally, to test the physical and mental endurance of the runners, Jalan Sumpitan was chosen as one of the race routes. The route to the peak of Jalan Sumpitan is captivating, offering stunning views of the surrounding natural landscape, including one of Southeast Asia’s tallest waterfalls, Lata Puteh Waterfall.
